Sisterhood Of The Traveling Letter.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Letter is a concept we borrowed from the movie "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." We used this idea for our very first Galentine event this past February. When God told me to start building the brand and vision He gave me, I thought I would continue doing the same thing, but I was completely wrong! Initially, I planned to host a charming Galentine event to kick things off, but the Holy Spirit revealed a deeper purpose for my actions. My first instruction was to limit the event to 14 women (14 being the number of Deliverance and Salvation). The second was for the dress code to be cream dresses (symbolizing the Bride of Christ), and lastly, to gift red roses representing the blood of Christ. I quickly realized this was the beginning of me embracing the calling I had been avoiding.

I asked each girl to write a letter to herself, expressing what she needed to hear during this season. The letter could include scripture, quotes, songs, or anything that resonated with her. Each letter was then printed on vintage paper, sprayed with perfume, and sealed with wax. I love details and romance, and I thought this was a beautiful touch, given that the theme was a Forever Love in Christ. After dinner, every letter was taken home by a different person. Everyone expressed their gratitude and many emotions after reading the letters they received, stating it was exactly what they needed. This practice has now become a staple in Element NOLA quarterly as we grow in Christ.

Similar to the movie's message, although we come from diverse backgrounds and face our own challenges, having a genuine Christ-led community and friendship significantly impacts our journeys. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus instructed us to go and make disciples of all nations. In our commitment to spreading the good news, we dedicate ourselves to sharing Christ's unconditional love by supporting women regardless of the distance. Our primary mission is to be a brand that truly embodies what it means to become a new creation in Christ. One, open to meeting you where you are while guiding you towards maturity.

This serves not only as a way to support women and address the challenges we encounter, both significant and everyday, under the guidance of God, but also as a reminder that you are not alone. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Letter is for the girls, and we are officially inviting you to join us!
